On tap at Bonds Tavern in West Orange. Pours a golden, effervescent hue with moderate frothing. Moderate aroma replete with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Similar overall flavor profile.

Deep golden color with a little bit of haziness. Off-white 1 inch head with some stickiness to it.
Tons of citrus on this one, also getting a little bit of pineapple and pine.
Lot more hop bitterness than I was expecting, with a good amount of pine and huge citrus notes. Also has pineapple and tropical fruit notes.
Medium to full bodied with a nice dry finish.
Overall I really enjoyed this one, especially liked that it had a good hop bite to the flavor.

When Kane makes a new IPA--get it! This one uses an experimental hop--#10416 to be exact. For me, this experimental hop had more West Coast flavor than East. But it was lively in the glass, has some nuance, and was very enjoyable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a finger of white head.
Lots of lemony citrus and pine on the nose.
Taste follows suit, lemon zest, fresh pine, also getting some crackery malts.
Medium to full body with good carb levels. Dry finish.
Overall another tasty Kane beer that I would try again for sure.

On tap at the brewery, 1/05/2019.
Unfiltered light straw color with a dense white cap, 1-plus f with good retention. Ring and wisp lacing.
Tangerine, pine, tropical fruit, doughy malt.
Flavor follows the nose with chewy pine and lots of fruit flavor.
Medium body and very drinkable at 8.0 % abv. It lacks bitterness and finishes dry and coarse.
The hop makes it unique and good, not great.

Pours a fairly clear golden straw color, appropriate head. Big lemon aroma. Taste is very lemony, slightly soapy. Carbonation is appropriate. Overall, a good DIPA.

Canned on 12/27/2018; reviewed the day after the can release. Poured into a Kane snulip glass. It pours a hazy, honey-orange with a very large, fluffy, bright white cap and a creamy sheen of lacing inside the glass. The nose features lemon peel, freshly-cut pine, and citrusy floral hops. The taste is really unique. It opens with a dose of sweet malt and oats followed by lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, rye cracker, and pine. There are also subtle tropical fruit notes that I cannot identify specifically. I'm completely unfamiliar with "Experimental Hop 10416" but it is plush and flavorful and only mildly bitter. In fact, I would describe this ale as "delicate." It has a nice full mouth feel with a moderate and pleasant level of carbonation, and the 8% ABV provides substance without overwhelming the delicate flavors. Overall, 10416 is a very good offering and I'm looking forward to learning more about this hop variety.
