Morning Bell conditioned on a blend of Ugandan and Haitian cacao nibs. The Ugandan nibs provide a rich chocolate flavor and aroma, which are complemented by the vanilla and brown sugar characteristics of the Haitian nibs. Overall, Morning Mocha strikes an ideal balance between the sweet and decadent flavors of the chocolate and the bold characteristics of the dark roasted coffee.

2020 release.
Pours a nice dark brown. 2 finger tan head. The head retention is amazing and the foam clings to the glass as it dissipates.
The nose is creamy, lactose aroma. Mixed in with that are hints of coffee and chocolate.
Taste - Lactose is the main flavor here, and is throughout the beer. The coffee hits on the backside, as does a nice hint of chocolate. These flavors work well together, and they really compliment each other well.
This is a creamy feeling beer. Nice and thick. The carbonation also adds a bit of a nice mouthfeel.
This is one hell of a solid and delicious beer.

Having the morning mocha on tap at the brewery on 02/21/2020. Tastes phenomenal compared to the morning bell. The cacao nibs balanced the overly sweet taste of morning bell with a nice chocolatey taste. Smells exactly how you would want a mocha inspired porter to smell, chocolatey. Color is black of course, minimal head retention/lacing. Overall an excellent porter and a significant improvement from the Morning bell.

Pours very dark. Nice chocolate aroma. Tastes like chocolate milk! Not sweet at all, chocolate flavor reminds me of Hershey’s Syrup. Coffee is nicely balanced and in the background. Thick and creamy. Overall I really like this variant, sux I missed the bottle release...

4/15/21 update. This version was conditioned on coffee, cacao nibs, and hazelnuts. Flavor is still mainly chocolate, coffee is gentle and well balanced, hazelnut is very faint in the background.
