Brownie Sugar Adjunct Magik is a brownie a la mode-inspired imperial stout brewed in collaboration with Magnify Brewing of Fairfield, NJ. We began with a complex malt bill that was balanced by lactose added to the kettle. We then used a large amount of brownie batter for rich fudge chocolate flavors. The beer was then conditioned on a thoughtful amount of cacao nibs, Madagascar vanilla beans, and walnuts for a robust yet well-balanced finish. Brownie Sugar Adjunct Magik is an indulgent experience best enjoyed a la mode.

Pours a very dark brown with nice fluffy mocha head that lasts. Nice fudge chocolate aroma. Flavor is chocolate brownie, nutty walnut, semi sweet vanilla. Rich and creamy, full bodied. Carbonation adds to a creamy body. Overall a very good pastry stout, way better that the Magnify counterpart.
