Bottle to snifter.
Thanks to Kane for delivering during this crazy situation.
LOOK: dark brown color, medium frothy beige head with ok retention. good legs, but not the sturdiest of heads.
AROMA: bourbon, wood, maple, light sniffs of medium roasted barley,
TASTE: sweetness from the maple and molasses come to the forefront. Hint of smoke. Rye gives a nice spicy kick in the finish along with more wood and a touch of bitter resin. Tasty, maybe a touch too sweet.
FEEL: weak carbonation, consistency of sugary water, medium body. smooth.
Nice interesting variant with some of my favorite attributes, but much better BA beers available from Kane.
Kane #70 for me.
