Pours an opaque peach colored beer with a nice 3 finger head. Smell is citrus, piney, floral. Tastes like key lime pie. Guilded for the cause is a collaboration of many top brewer's in NJ. The lactose in this really drives home the key lime creaminess.Feels medium bodied, finishes semi dry, really drinkable.Well carbonated. The only other KEY LIME beer I had was from Peak and was a tad better. That being said this is worthwhile for sure.

Finger’s worth of white foam, even surface, moderate pace to the evaporation, not much stick to the lacing. Cloudy, opaque yellow liquid. Nose of pure key lime pie, extremely fresh and openly knit, cinnamon notes, smattering of grapefruit, tend to feel the hops stiffen the whole rather than provide specific scents. Medium bodied, suspect that the added citrus pulp weighs it down as it progresses slowly across the palate. Carbonation so-so. But as in the nose there’s impeccable balance to the lime and lactose and for me avoids the kind of cloying sweetness beers of this type fall into. As might be expected, the hoppy bite more present here than in the nose. Maybe some pine through the finish. Hard to parse much out through the lime but there’s little reason to try. Again, well-balanced and drinkable. (Canned 10/28/20)

I’m a big fan of this one! Snagged just as the Kane delivery was being made this morning. The key lime and lactose together is like citrus whipped cream goodness; the bitterness is right on with that kickass cashmere hops popping through the sabro and motueka—excellent combo. Mouth feel is satin thanks to that lactose. I only picked up one 4-pack but I am definitely getting another tomorrow—this is too good to miss. At 6.5% this is super drinkable! Kane via the Brewers Guild knocked it outta the park here imo. Don’t miss!
