Imperial dark lager brewed with German floor-malted Bohemian pilsner and dark Bohemian pilsner, dark wheat, and a small amount of German crystal and roasted malts. Hopped in the kettle and whirlpooled exclusively with Hallertau Mittelfruh.

Pours a fairly clear dark brown color, minimal head. Nice bready aroma, burnt crust, light yeast, some toffee. Very flavorful, I get burnt caramel, dark brown sugar, burnt sourdough crusts. Very light yeasty flavor. Hops add a nice sharp bite of bitterness. Solid carbonation, adds to a creamy texture. Overall a very good dark lager. Would buy again.
