I love Kane beers. I'm not sure if they rushed this one, or what. But they fell a little short. I mean it is a dank Imperial, however a little short of what I expect from this great Brewery

DATE: January 10, 2025... OCCASION: celebrating a three-win night with a beer I hoped to have on New Year's Eve or Day--some things are worth the wait... GLASSWARE: Duvel snifter... pours a creamy, three-fingered, soft white head onto an opaque tangerine-tinted body... the head is steadfast and craggy, clumping and lacing with attractively... orange swirl, sweet sugar, buzzing tangerine, melon, papaya, and herbal hops overpower a dank funk that lingers underneath... creamy, medium-bodied draw with a puckering punch immediate to the teeth and a light, almost mellow save its acidity in its finish.... deceptively smooth and agreeable for a beer of this ABV... juicy, full-flavored fruit explosion of mango, papaya, pineapple, vanilla, herb garden, and dank basement make this another Kane offering that hits... not balanced, this hop-heavy IIPA is clean and flavorful, resonant and rewarding... not overdone, this would have worked as a four-pack welcoming the new year...

can to snifter. I had about 24 oz of this last night also for "year's end".
LOOK: very hazy, bright yellow, medium foamy white head, very good retention.
AROMA: heavy grass, light perfume, light citrus,
TASTE: grapefruit, grass, veggie, hay, raw grains. Tasty, but a drop-off from expectation based on Aroma.
FEEL: medium body, a little sticky (almost pasty) in the finish. pretty smooth. also, a touch dry through out.
Not the best Kane hoppy beer, but above average.
