12.0% blend of Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Porters and Stouts made up of three different components. First we pulled together two different Imperial Stouts, one that was aged in Four Roses bourbon barrel for 20-months, and another that was brewed with marshmallows and aged in our own maple syrup bourbon barrels for close to two years. Finally these two beers were blended with a maple Imperial Milk Porter aged for 16-months in an Oloroso Sherry cask. The final blend has notes of rich chocolate, vanilla and maple, accented by the toasted and nutty profile from the Sherry.

Pours very dark, moderate mocha head with decent lacing. Interesting aroma, I get bandaids, but not in a bad way; maple, brown sugar, star anise, port wine; a little boozy.
Flavor is pretty complex. Lots going on here. First I get sweet cherry, chocolate cherry cordial, sweet maple, fairly strong scotch flavor.
Chocolate and coffee on the finish. Medium bodied and slick, light carbonation. Overall a really cool beer considering all the components.

Bottle to snifter.
LOOK: dark black color, small light brown head. ok retention.
AROMA: oak, bourbon, cocoa, vanilla,
TASTE: dark chocolate, wood, plum, prune, maple, vanilla. Finish has some smoke, peat, bourbon, and scotch flavors.
FEEL: small carbonation struggles its way through the medium-to-full body viscosity.
Very nice blend. Lots of flavor. Kane is really the best at producing quality stouts and porters. They have some many of my favorites.

Pours inky black with a caramel colored head that quickly dissipates into a foamy ring. Nice lacing. On the nose, bourbon, maple and a hint of Sherry. Starts sweet on the palate with notes of chocolate, maple, dark stone fruit, coffee and roasted/burnt malt. Finishes sweet with just a hint of alcohol heat. Unctuous mouthfeel with little carbonation. Overall, this is an outstanding stout offering from Kane!
