16 oz. can dated 8/10/21. Poured into Alchemist glass.
L: Big 2.5F white foamy head with good retention, leaving webs of sticky lacing and a cap and ring. Beer is a hazy golden orange.
S: Pineapple, citrus, and grassy notes dominate.
T: Some pineapple, cut with melon and grape-like flavors, and some grassiness, but more bright than dank and earthy. Very hop-forward.
F: Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Construction and balance are fine, it runs to very slightly bitter. Good flavor, definitely a change from their normal IPAs.
O: It's a change from their usual flavor profile, but it's good.

can to snifter.
LOOK: super thick and hazy, straw yellow color, large white head, excellent retention. "Hop Bisque".
AROMA: balance of pine, grass, citrus, grape, melon.
TASTE: very sharp and grassy, bordering hairspray, upfront. Melon, Grapefruit and Pineapple come in late to swish away the bitter and sharp. Not super tasty, but nice enough and well balanced. Contrast of bitter and juicy is a nice back and forth.
FEEL: very good carbonation despite thickness. Almost chewy. Some astringency, and a little chalky, but also some milky smoothness.
Probably the most hop-forward Kane beer I've had (and I've had a lot). Kane's stouts and porters are my favorite, but they do a pretty good job on the IPA front as well. This one, though not infallible, is in a bit of a different category for them from a hoppy perspective.
Great job (again) Kane.
