3650 is a blend of barrel aged ales aged in rye whiskey barrels. This beer is released annually to commemorate our anniversary. Each year we save a portion of our previous anniversary beer to be blended with a fresh batch that is then aged for a year in rye whiskey barrels.

Pours clear and pretty dark, decent foamy head. Big chocolate aroma, and I detect notes of red wine barrel aging. Flavor is chocolate, red wine barrel. Relatively thin for Kane BA beer. Overall, tasty but not my favorite.

Cola brown with red edges and a short tan head that fizzles out to an uneven ring.

I'm finding this to be really oaky, spicy and peppery compared to the previous year's anniversary, delivering a nice punch in flavor without too much of a boozy bite. This improves further in the Reisen and nougat exhale, which surfaces after the contrastingly bitter, woody and herbal finish. With time, the nose adds a sort of Dr. Pepper and char quality, but in a way that is far more complex than that sounds.

Its mild fizz froths the light body up to medium heft before settling into a lightly chewy, semi-sticky finish.

This year's anniversary blend was just absolutely delicious. I would have found a way to hoard a whole case if I was closer to Kane.

Bottle to snifter.

LOOK: Dark brown color with a light hint of orange, murky, small cream colored head. ok retention.
AROMA: lots of dark fruit, plum, fig, raisin. red wine. some yeasty bread wafts. light touches of wood and barrel character.
TASTE: A bit stronger on taste. whiskey comes to the forefront as the lead, where the dark fruits and malt and yeast take a supporting role.
FEEL: Sturdy, medium body. OK carbonation. Maybe thins out a bit late.

Solid.
