Double Double Wrapped started as a blend of imperial stouts aged for an average of 21 months in Buffalo Trace and Blanton’s bourbon barrels.
After cold conditioning in stainless, we conditioned this blend on cacao nibs from Haiti and Ghana, along with a big dose of peanut butter.
The result is a decadent imperial stout that reveals flavor layers of dark chocolate ganache and creamy peanut butter filling supported by subtle vanilla and marshmallow flavors from the extended barrel-aging process.

Pours very dark and viscous, nominal head. Massive chocolate aroma with a touch of peanut. Flavor is liquid fudge, salty peanut butter, toasted marshmallows. Rich and creamy texture. Overall a delicious beer, peanut flavor is not overwhelming.
