Thick, creamy and rich, Kane, in their fourteenth year of existence has grown from birthday cakes and ice cream and now prefers bananas foster and coconut cream pie.
And that's what their fourteenth Anniversary Ale represents as the blend of barrel aged stouts pour pitch black and visous in nature. As a creamy mocha meringue forms, the senses are soon engulfed in a swell of chocolate, caramel, toasted nuttiness, vanilla and cream. It's sultry sweetness mimics the same while slathering the tastebuds with nougat richness, dark chocolate, maple, molasses and fudgy flavor. As vanilla and coffee rise for intrigue and complexity, any balance is slimly bitter and woven together with caramel, coconut and vanilla nuances from the barrels.
Full bodied and finishing with bourbon warmth, this anniversary ale shows tremendous maturity and charm.
