When pumpkin beers start appearing in midsummer, it's time for a seasonal reality check. Hailing from The Garden State, we are fully aware of the actual flavors of summer. With Panzanella we play that game. A salted ale constructed around malts chosen to play croutons, Summit hops chosen for their garlic/onion pungency and dry hopped with tomatoes and cucumbers to evoke that classic midsummer salad. Drink Panzanella at a picnic table and save the gourds for the harvest.
