There is a canned on date which let's me know that my beer is almost 4 months old, hmmm for a lager that's not bad in my opinion. The pour is a fizzy yellow just like your typical pale lager usually is. On the aroma i'm picking up some yeast. On the taste i'm picking up some bready malt & a hint of floral. This beer is light, crisp, & refreshing, this is exactly what you need during after a hot summer's day of yard work. Furthermore, it seems like 4 months might be a tad bit old for this beer. Are they making these lager these days the same way their making pale ales because they both seem to last the same amount of time, oh well, better luck next time around & cheers! B-

Due-South recommended four places to enjoy Coastline Lager. But, not one of them was where I Had it. I Had it on the Brightline, the only new, privately funded passenger rail line in the U.S. in 90 years. Cruising on it at 70 miles an hour next to The Dixie Highway with cars in stop 'n go rush-hour congestion, the beer felt pretty good.

Coming down from that life-changing ride over, I regret saying that Coastline Lager is not too much better than its peers. Average on all counts. It probably was too cold for me to appreciate the flavors, so I defer on the description.

However as a "Veteran owned and operated" brewer, I was intrigued and went on their website. The founder was a dedicated and deligent homebrewer who wanted to share his passion widely. And he seems to be diligently growing and offering a range of ales, mostly in the British tradition. Due-South ages beers in barrels and has a surprisingly diverse programming/events and a thoughtful menu. Good luck !

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head consisting of large bubbles that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a small collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of lemons are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of nondescript malts with hints of lemons.
M: It feels light- bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't especially flavorful but it is easy to drink. It tasted a little like a cross between a Mexican Lager and a Gose.
