16oz can with a date hidden on the rim
Hazy cloudy look, not much foam. This beer STINKS, and in a good way: dank stank hops dominate. This is a tropical hop bomb, with pineapple and weed flavors dominating the weak gritty oats
Nice, juicy, and bitter. The addition of the apricot gives it a unique sweet twist that compliments the harsh oat notes

Funky, sour smell on the nose. Solid head that sticks and laces nicely. Pour opaque like an neipa should, and looks great. The taste follows the smell- this is almost a cross between a sour and an ipa. A nice change of pace, but if you want a traditional neipa, this is not your beer. Went well with a spicy burger, fwiw.

Only bought one, and really wished I got more. Almost two months old, so the apricot may have lessened, but still a hoppy, flavorful, tasty beer. Love the dark color, has a nice balance of juiciness with a hint of bitterness. Creamy, medium bodied, mouth watering, super easy drinking. One of the best I’ve had from my favorite brewery in a long time.

16oz can, dated 06.24.2020, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a bright orange color, light amber and honey hues with a foamy white head, about a finger or so tall with moderate retention and nice lacing. The aroma is nice, soft citrus, earthy mosaic hops, apricot and peach juice, grassy and floral with pale dough and mineral water. The flavors are good, juicy citrus, apricot puree comes across nicely, tangy and fresh with some more tropical mango and pineapple, lightly floral but very grassy, a bit herbal and resinous with a strong piney bitterness and a sweeter yeasty and doughy finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating, smooth but lively medium body that finishes easily with a lingering dry bite.
Verdict: A nice NEIPA from Pipeworks. The apricot puree works, the mosaic hops offer a solid counterbalance but all together, it's not the most exciting or adventurous beer. Refreshing and very sessionable.

Taasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 27, 2019. Look is hazy orange gold. Smell and taste is a nice blend of hop notes and the apricot. Good stuff.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of apricot, pineapple and caramel. Strong apricot taste with sweet citrus and toasted caramel.

Pours a matte completely opaque gold color. One finger sudsy white head dissipates quickly leaving a ring of foam along the outside of the beer.
Aroma has notes of orange, grapefruit, apricot and mango. Fruity and in line with what one would expect from a NE style IPA.
Taste follows the nose with mild notes of orange, grapefruit, apricot, mango, and peach. Cracker malt backbone is quite pronounced in the flavor profile. Mild green bitterness on the back end with a slight lingering bitterness on the finish. The profile is quite nice and perfectly in line with a completely generic NE style IPA.
Feel is light to medium bodied. Mild yet prickly carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
Overall this is a well-executed generic NE style IPA.

16oz can, date stamped 06/17/2019. Pineapple-orange juice looking body with a tall & frothy off-white head. Fruity & tropical fruit aroma with apricot puree and grapefruit standing out. Big juicy flavors of grapefruit, orange, green hop, and sweet apricot along with a touch of oats, all meld well on the palate. Full creamy body, moderate carbonation, finish is tart and bitter with plenty of juicy residual sweetness. I like the apricot in this one - not overbearing and blends in nicely with the hop profile. Well done!
