Pours an effervescent gold with a liver of white head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Apricots, pears & grassyness
T: Follows the nose, a little orange hoppyness as well along with a faint yeasty/peppery bite & a little dryness up front. More citrus hop, dryness, a little peach & apricot as this warms. Finishes citrussy, dry with a bit of pear
MF: Medium body with slight carbonation
Very drinkable, maybe not as apricotty as I thought it would be

In this marriage of apricots and beer, the apricots come out on top, while the beer isn't quite as good as I'd like, IMHO.
The appearance is golden, a golden apricot color. There's a brief head, that's gone immediately. The smell is mild, mostly yeast, with a bit of fruit. The taste is rich with apricots, with a bit of farmhouse funk. It's not at all sour or tart, not to me. There's a lot of carbonation, giving this beer a sprightly mouthfeel.
Overall, I'm a big fan of apricots, so the apricot-heavy character of this beer rings my bells. But the straight farmhouse/saison side of this beer is a bit underwhelming.

Treated as an American Wild ale, this was poured into a tulip, the appearance was a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated fairly quick leaving some messy clingy semi-thick foamy lace. The aroma takes on some Brett, grassy hops, lemony tartness touched by some lemongrass, floral qualities - somewhat perfumey. Nicely blended. Apricots, obviously. The flavor yields to the sour side letting the Brett take over housing the apricots with the grassy hops, lemon and lemongrass back and touching down on a sour blended low level vinous aftertaste and a crisp sour vinous finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Makes for a good session considering that the sour is fairly tame. Overall, nicely done American Wild ale with apricots that I would have again.
