12 oz can purchased from Macon, GA. Had no idea this was an 8% beer until after I poured it. Whoops. No can dating. Tall North Coast glass snifter pour.
Deep apricot gold with a fuzzy/fluffy head of 3 fingers. Nice appearance. Lace is left in globs on the side.
Aroma is like, BAM! APRICOT! right off the bat. They must have used thousands of pounds of apricots. Nice peppery/cloudy saison yeast behind that, and slight orange marmalade.
I have no qualms about the flavor. Real nice natural apricot going on, with a distinct alcohol burn and beautiful yeast phenols. It exceeds my expectation and does everything the can promises. It simply kicks ass. I'm trying to find flaws but I'm coming up short. Hey, if it's a good beer, I give it a good score.
Feel is a touch too carbonated, but that's to be expected with a can that foams over. Lots of alcohol burn. Nice dryness, peppery spice.
Overall a really really really good Saison. The 8% surprised me. Needs to be rated higher overall.

From a bottle in Atlanta.
Thin weak head over a clear body.
The body is medium well (medium) carbonated.
Pungent yet not strong aroma with an unfortunate suggestion of vinegar.
Moderately strong and mildly tart flavor is fruity and better than the aroma suggests. Hints of over-ripe pears and apricots.

Slightly metallic on the nose. When tasting, strong apricot flavor through and through that is quite impressive when compared to fruity notes of other beers. Extreme drinkability for 8%. All around, a saison that is a small cut above your average saison. Don't expect any tartness or sourness to this beer, as there is essentially none.

look: hazy peach. Substantial off white head with pretty messy lacing.
smell: Apricots. Yeasty with some spice.
taste: Much like the nose up front. A blooming thing in the finish with some bitter tartness with a bit of pepper.

22oz bottle from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 7.99. Bottled 6/16/15. Served in a Burnt Hickory snifter.
Pours an opaque burnt orange with a finger and a half pale head. The foam lingers before settling to a hefty collar that leaves some decent chunks of lace.
Aroma is farmy with a good dose of sweet, earthy apricots and some vague spice.
Those apricots are right up front in the taste with the farmy notes, hay and some clove. There is a little bit of perceptible alcohol but the hay and apricot cover it well.
Medium full feel with fairly light carbonation. The aftertaste continues the theme of pulpy apricots and wet, farmy hay.
White Flag is yet another in an increasing list of saisons that I enjoy due to the addition of fruit. The apricot is done well here and makes what I typically consider a pretty ho-hum style a little more interesting.
