Little Fire is a smoked Helles lager made with German pilsner and smoked malts. The smoked malt provides a subtle but impressionable character to a hugely enjoyable, well-balanced beer.
Pouring a golden-colored hue in the glass, Little Fire impresses upon your palate with notes of fresh-baked bread, clean lager yeast, straw, and whispers of smoke. Enjoying it transports us to a place of crackling leaves with distant campfire smoke in the air.
It’s absolutely sublime.

From a 16oz can dated "Autumn 2025" into a weizen glass.
Pours a golden color with a twinge of orange. One finger of white head. Ok retention. Decent lacing.
There is a decent balance of smoke and helles on the nose. Some smoked pork, bread and corn.
Balanced in the mouth too. Similar flavors as aromas.
Lighter-bodied with medium carbonation. Smokey, crackery aftertaste.
I'm still not sold on this style of beer but this is one of the best I've had. Very well-balance. Smokiness is not overpowering.

Thanks flip warnerry for the can! Can bottom says SUMMER 2025.
Crystal clear gold liquid with good retention of 2 fingers white head. Delicately smoky aroma with nice noble hops below. Flavor has some good bready notes, yum! I’ve had some very smoky bacon-esque beers and this one is just so restrained and nuanced. Easily the best smoked beer that I’ve had.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a large head of puffy white foam. The head stays strong, very slowly fading over time and leaving tons of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a bready and doughy smell mixed with some grain and a bit caramel. Along with these smells comes a light smoky smell mixed with a touch of bacon and a hint of earthiness.
Taste – The taste starts out with a bready and doughy flavor mixed with some caramel and a bit of grain. As the taste advances a very light smoke flavor and a bit more grain and hay come to the tongue. With a slight loss of the bready at the end, one is left with a rather crisp, pilsner like flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light and crisp with a moderate carbonation. Both are good for the subtle smoke and the pilsner tastes, making for an easy sipper.
Overall – A nice easy drinking brew. Good flavor and feel. A nice summer style brew.

Pours a clear yellow with loads of dense, long-lasting white head. Very nice looking beer. On the nose the smoke is subdued, but present to complement the grass / grain notes. Taste is a chameleon. Some sips I get traditional Helles, others more Rauchbier. Tasty, but maybe slightly underwhelming (I would have preferred a little more smoke). Crisp and well carbonated.

Clear golden pouring beer with a 3 finger white fluffy head. Retention is decent with some lacing on the glass. There's a bit of carbonation rising in the glass.
Aroma is mostly a grainy biscuit aroma. There's also a faint hint of smoke as well.
The front of this beer is a malty biscuit flavor, that has a hint of sweetness. The back is where the smoke appears, and it's a lot stronger than the aroma let on, which is pleasing to me.
Body is light, crisp and clean. Smoke feeling lingers in my throat.
This is delicious and refreshing overall.

Can dated : Autumn 2022
Translucent gold with light white head, that leaves a thin ring , and a bit of surface sheeting.
Edit : I see other reviews say "clear", but this specimen has some slight haze, & is definitely not clear. fwiw
Smell is light smoke, as from a partially burnt brown paper bag, that has gotten wet, light sweet grain, fresh hay, and a slight floral aroma , as from a fall field on a sunny day, as the fog burns off. (I.e., goldenrod + bedstraw + aster) .
Taste is bread crust, smoke - lighter than in the aroma - , toasted grain + honey , but less sweet than the aroma, finishing with some light noble hop spiciness.
Feel is light-medium, with moderate very, very fine sharp carbonation, and a dry finish.
Overall very good . The carbonation is a tad abrasive , but a minor point. Probably would be a plus , and be somewhat refreshing, on a hot summer day.
If you're looking for a point of comparison, it's very close to Aecht Schlenkerla Helles Lagerbier. Just a little smokier than that, with a slightly rougher feel. If tasting blind, I'm not sure I could guess which was which.
