Pale yellow body, clear; dense, vibrant carbonation; thick head, white and frothy; sticky fingers of foam inside the glass. Very fragrant smell; floral, citrus and tropical fruit-like; mango and light melon. Well-balanced taste; delicate malt base carrying a nice light estery quality; a foggy and subdued citrus flavor; light pear and cantaloupe; herbal; moderate to heavy hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp.
A very nice west coast style India pale that brings a balanced, clean and crisp delights to your palate.
Pouring temperature: 56 °F: canning info: 01/31/23

16 oz can.
Straw to gold in hue. Firm, confident white foam rises 2 fingers, holds for a spell, and eventually settles into solid 1/2 inch cap. Layers of lithe lacing abound.
Nose asserts windy circus notes upfront, followed by some green grass, berries, melon, and finally a hint of pine.
Flavor starts off with berry and lime zest, some oniony notes, grain, and slightly herbal, grassy finish. There's an overall "green" ambience going on here.
Mouthfeel is active, light, and finishes a bit dry.
Overall, pretty good.

Packaged on 1/31/23 - enjoyed on 2/19/23 - poured from a 16oz can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.
Nearly clear golden yellow liquid supports a finger of ivory soft peaks. Fine sandy lacing; decent retention.
Spicy/fruity hop-forward aromatics - pine, orangesicle, chives, and gooseberry. Complex and subtle.
Orange, mango, and pine-sol at first. Persistent, moderate bitterness with a vaguely metallic edge. Neutral yeast, weak/pale malt presence. Tart-sweet finish suggests red vine-infused lemon-lime/club soda . Aftertaste is faintly crackery but it never manages to balance the hops, the varieties of which seem to conflict rather than complement one another. Muddled and poorly structured.
Sharp carbonation, sticky yet thin, ABV present but not hot.
Swing and a miss, this ale seems unfinished (much like Perceval's initial quest).

Pours a clear amber with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Aromatic with green melon and straw. Fairly sweet to start and quite fruity, but balanced with a tangy edge. Really nice hop flavors of lime, lemon peel, berries, even a touch of cucumber.
Moderate bitter aftertaste with some woodiness, like it sat in a barrel while they were waiting for the cans. Thoroughly drinkable hoppy brew. From the 16 oz can dated 01/20/23. Very nice colorful label with gold shining through; stylized Medieval icons.

canned 1/20/23. sampled 1/30/23. it is a fine looking beer. Very lite straw color, perfectly clear, steady, fine carbonation rising in my tall tulip glass. 2-finger white head of decent duration, lots of lacing….but the joy pretty much stops there. not much smell, sort of thin on the flavor with a nondescript somewhat grassy flavor and any hoppiness is really subtle or totally MIA, and a decidedly not clean finish.

This one is Steve McQueen cool to Raul. Like, he’s a badass, and a lot of people love him. But it’s just that I’m more of a Paul Newman guy, you know? Like, the other day I saw a picture of SM shirtless in the kitchen over coffee. Would PN do that? Hells no! But it’s all good. Because Raul feels good. And so is this beer.
