1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours a brilliant golden hue. It is topped with a fleeting head.

I get orange aroma along with a tart smell with earthy hops.

Orange flavor upfront. A gentle tartness rolls in. The hops add some citrus. The orange flavor regains control into the finish. Nice tartness in the finish and aftertaste.

Medium bodied with a semidry mouthfeel

Good beer. I don't feel that sours are Hoof's strong suit. They kill IPAs.

Canned on 1/12/19

Pours a very cloudy dingy orange topped with a loose, off-white head of thin foam; retention is decent, and leaves no traces of lacing/cap/collar.

Aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit, creamy vanilla upfront; underlying citric and lactic acidity sprinkled with orange zest works well with the bouquet as a whole; a sweetness dominates for the most part, with the tart qualities lying just beneath the surface.

Taste blood orange, grapefruit zest, creamy vanilla to go along with a lactic tartness that fades over the mid-palate; faint grainy quality on the finish, which is at this point by no means tart.

Mouthfeel brings a body slightly toward the lighter side of medium along with a lower-level carbonation; mostly dry, and in conjunction with the light tartness/acidity gliding across the tongue, it works nearly perfectly, save for a minor thinness; highly refreshing.

Refreshing, bright, and enjoyable sour IPA here. Easy drinking thanks to a good balance of creamy sweetness and citric acidity.
