Hoof Hearted The World's Baldest Conga Line Imperial Stout, 13.5% ABV. Pours black and thick like oil, with no head. Nose is banana, chocolate, and peanut butter. Taste is chocolate, peanut butter, coffee, and pineapple, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Thick and smooth mouthfeel with moderately heavy carbonation. Overall very excellent.

Flat and still, with a limited fizzy head that almost immediately disappears. Given the ABV and insane amount of additives, I suppose that's not a surprise.

With so much packed into this beer, it's likely impossible for them all to make an appearance on the nose. Still, some impressions are pretty clear: strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter, vanilla, and coffee, at the very least, along with more base malt notes of molasses and toffee.

Same goes for the flavor. The strawberry is surprisingly pleasant, both noticeable and restrained. Peanut butter, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee all blend together, along with the strong base, to provide a rich, smooth support for the fruit. Banana is a little difficult to separate from the yeast, but there is a general smooth tropical fruitiness that I suspect is the interplay of the banana and pineapple - although the strawberries provide the only clearly identifiable fruit note. Although I'm not a fan of strawberry, and such a light, sweet fruit blend seems at odds with the rest of the darker, richer notes and additives, it works; it's a really, really tasty beer.

While it's not thick and chewy - it's a dessert beer, with a ton of additives, but not exactly a pastry beer - it does drink "big," without ever coming across as aggressive, despite the massive ABV.

Pours a black small dark tan head fades spray fast just spotty lace.

Aroma is nice smooth roasted malt, chocolate, peanut butter and banana hints of pinnapple don't really pick up any strawberry more just light fruitiness, guess same could be said for the pinnapple.

Taste is like the nose, sweet roasted malts, good chocolate, vanilla banana, light peanut butter which is enjoyable, usually anti peanut butter in my beers but this one is mellow enough to be enjoyable. Smooth and sweet nice little dessert beer that's not overly sweet.

Mouthfeel is big medium approaches full and chewy.

Overall not a bad little stout.

Never seen this but looking at the abv I quickly picked up two! Head sizzles out pretty quickly but a very deep looking black thick liquid. Smell is nice mild banana chocolate peanut butter. Taste is all over the place sweet, roasty, mild chocolate, bit of hops and the whole time peanut butter and sour strawberry clash! This has got to be one of the more interesting imperial stouts I have had as of late! Despite the thick body and clash of flavors it is good I can easily finish the whole can.

Try it!

Look: It pours black with a dark brown head. Head retention is low.

Smell: Chocolate is the first aroma with a bit of sweetness. There are bananas in support with hints of strawberries, cocoa, and peanut butter.

Taste: The flavors are bold and different than the aromas with chocolate with banana and strawberry. The pineapple note as a bit of sweetness with the other fruits that counter the bitterness.

Feel: It has a full body with finish that is sweet more than bitter.

Overall, it has a lot of flavors, but some of them are not well define and blend very closely with other elements.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a very small, off-white head of foam. It left very little lace on the glass. It smelled of vanilla, rich cocoa, peanut butter and toffee notes. Sweet chocolate taste with creamy peanut butter, toffee and hints of vanilla.

Stepping down from their hazy ways, Hoof Hearted goes to the O.G. hazy beer- Stout! And while in the capable hands of Hoof Hearted their Stout is built for splitsville. Generous additions of banana, strawberry, pineapple, cacao, coffee, vanilla, and peanut butter start to tease whether the stout is a beer or a melted ice cream snack.

Jet black and crowning with a creamy tan cap, The World's Baldest Conga Line immediately starts to align on the nose with a kahlua-laced creaminess, a roasty chocolate tone and a gentle melange of fruit. As the beer dances on the early palate, the achingly sweet malt influence is built around toffee, praline, nougat, honey and vanilla cream.

As the ale creeps onto the middle palate, the sweetness invites complementary flavors of coffee, bittersweet chocolate, candied pecan and waffle cone. Seemingly straight from the creamery, the undertones of heavy cream, condensed milk and vanilla slowly weave in the strawberry, pineapple, banana and peanut butter with a bold splash of coffee liquor to boot. The late taste is warming, spicy and soothing as a taste of irish whisky highlights the fruit complement and takes an edge off of the mild hop balance.

Full bodied, lavish and unabashed cloying, the Imperial Stout finishes roasty-sweet and with an unmistakable attempt to mimic banana split dessert. Put all those ingredients into the blender, allow it to melt and add a few ounces of Irish whisky and we have ourself the World's Baldest Conga Line.

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and is topped with a couple inches of mocha head that leaves little lacing.

I get coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and hints of peanut butter and banana in the aroma.

The taste is chocolate, coffee, strawberry, peanut butter, and vanilla. The pineapple is very subtle.

Full bodied with thick, creamy mouthfeel

I was a little skeptical of a beer with banana in it. The banana was not a major factor with about 50 other ingredients involved. This is a complex and tasty pastry stout.
