Poured from a 22oz bottle with a bottle on date of 04.25.2018 into a large snifter.
Pours straw-in-color with moderate cloudiness and a finger tip foamy white head that dissipates after a minute or so.
The nose is slightly funky with a distinctly citrus rind/citrus sweetness.
Citrus taste with a bit of a orange-rind bitterness but smooth finish.
Malty, full body.
Overall this is an enjoyable NE IIPA because it is balanced. It retains some bitterness of an IIPA but doesn't numb the palate while it's not overly creamy in the mouth as many other IPAs/IIPAs with lactose. What surpised me more was how it held up considering it's bottle date. I would recommend and seek this beer out again.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a bright yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Pretty good lacing.
S: A nice aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus, malt, and a floral quality.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), a creamy quality, lots of tropical fruit (mangoes?), a good shot of hops, light malt, and the floral quality. A sweet, zesty NEIPA flavor. It's a bit more subtle than most flavors of the style, but it still works. Juicy and flavorful.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a vibrant and creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is a very solid, and wholly likable NEIPA. Certainly drinkable.

Poured a cloudy, light-yellow body with good lace and minimal head. Aroma is mild with notes of citric hops. Smooth, almost creamy (lactic), orange acidic bite is mild with floral grapefruit sweetness and good balance w/ clean finish.
