Not a retired beer…who retires these beers in BA anyhow?? Canned on 3/16/21. Pretty damned delish!

Had this on tap served in a goblet.
A: No head, very little lacing. Lovely golden, translucent hue. Not much carbonation.
S/T: Beautiful bouquet. Citrus, lemon, pineapple, tropical smell.
I was excited to drink this beer after taking in the aroma. The first drink was a little disappointing, but I remained interested. The second drink and beyond the beer tastes like tea with a nice little grassy finish. I like the beer and find it easy to drink, like tea.
When I read reviews that declare a beer NE style, my mind goes to Alchemist or Lawson’s. This beer is neither of those.

The NE-style DIPA is quickly becoming my favorite type of beer, and this is a shining example of the beer form. It smells like pineapple and tastes like pineapple, mango, and spruce. The juicy beer feels very hydrating and glows a gorgeous yellow in the glass.

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. This beer is a straw yellow, hazy color. Looks like a witbier!!!! Small white head that fades fast and some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit, strong and nice and bitter. Very nice!! Flavor is more of the same. Grapefruit and other citrus flavors, bitterness, and some bready malt to balance things out. Mouthfeel is rich and crisp with just the right amount of bitterness. Goes down easy. A very good IPA

A: Hazy, golden straw color with a bone white head that sticks around nicely and leaves nice lacing. No visible carbonation. A very attractive beer.
S/T: The aroma and flavor of this beer are a bit of a turn off for me. Grassy, green oniony, earthy, some berry and stone fruit aromas. Some pineapple too. I’m not sure what it is. I enjoy all of these aromas and flavors, but for some reason in this beer, this combination of flavors are just not working for me.
M: Low level of carbonation.
D: See above.
