16oz canned 8-29-19 (#0358/6900), opened 11-16-19.
2 finger ivory white head comes over the rim. Pale golden with some floaties and a snow globe effect. Excellent head retention. Not a snow globe fan but going 4 on LOOK as I may be a little late on this one causing the floaties. Thick with lace.
Pineapple, orange, floral, and a clean, clear whiff of pine holding up the aroma.
Pine lead off, orange second...getting some pineapple and lemon rind as well a grapefruit bitterness late.
Medium body, medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel but with a heavy (for a hazy) dose of bitterness.
Good to Very Good. Most likely closer to Very Good; as mentioned earlier I'm a little late on this one and it's held up very well.

Soft, pale yellow body; mildly cloudy; fair head (one-finger thick), frothy and sticky. Great citrus aroma; white grapefruit; lemon. Well-balanced flavor; a bit of bread crust with a bold citrus overlay; strong hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp, acidic, and dry overall; slight juiciness.

This beer exudes some well-balanced roundness. The alcohol is pretty well hidden while the relatively light grain bill and hop bitterness do a fine complementary dance. There is nothing super-exceptional going on here, but this beer offering should certainly please anyone looking for an enjoyable double/imperial IPA of the hazy persuasion.

16oz can served in a pint glass. Canned on 08/29/19.

Pours moderately hazy, bright yellow, smallish head, medium fine carbonation. Smell is green, lemon, something I can't place.

Taste is lemon, pine or zest bitterness. Honey sweetness. Boozy.

Mouthfeel is smooth. Overall, good beer.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange / yellow color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing to speak of.

S: A solid aroma of dank hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a bit of tropical fruit (mango, in particular), a good shot of dank hops (not overdone, though), and some citrus fruit as well (orange, especially). A focused and well-constructed flavor. It's a good mix of hoppy dankness and fruity sweetness. Not overpowering, but more subtle than anything.

F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is a well done, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a look.

Poured from a growler purchased at the brewery Sept. 2, 2019.

A pleasant hazy yellow with plenty of foam. The smell is very good, as expected from the dry hopping with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Amarillo. Taste is mainly citrus and a bit boozy, but not unpleasantly so. Not exceptional, but a solid DIPA.
