Our Russian Imperial Stout conditioned on a staggering amount of Toasted Coconut, Cacao Nibs, Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup + then dosed with a fresh shot of Cubano Roast Coffee.

Pours dark as ink. Head was fairly thin, darker shade of tan with a sporadic amount of lacing. Nose was chocolate, but not super sweet with a hint of charr and coconut. Initial taste was coconut and dark chocolate that faded to a light sweetness across the back of palate. Warmth builds on throat, however it was mild. At 13% this is deceptively smooth.

Black Science IX. (Ghost 1490) pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma has notes of anise and coffee. The flavor is a little sweeter, with creamy coffee notes and hints of black licorice. A little flat. Overall, it's a nice creamy, sweeter Russian imperial stout.

16oz can. Bottom date stamp reads '09/05/23 CONSUME FRESH'.
Black colored body, with a very thin mahogany back lit edge. Brief and fizzy light tan head. Leaves behind some lacing spots.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, chocolate, maple syrup, and coffee.
Taste is sweet with roasted malts, vanilla, maple, and coconut. Also included is chocolate and a touch of coffee. Mellow aftertaste and no bitterness.
More than medium mouth feel. Smooth and creamy finish. No bitterness, even from the coffee. Supportive carbonation.
Very well balanced adjunct stout, and not overly sweet, with the recognizable flavors of coconut, chocolate, vanilla, maple, and coffee all working in cohort. Higher ABV% is well hidden.
