16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated completely illegibly. Provided by @ozzylizard tangentially related to NBS BIF #18.
Pours black with a humongous dark tan head, dense and uniform at first, settling slowly into a thick layer of mixed-size bubbles, tons of active carbonation visible at rest. Smell is coffee and black licorice, some maple sweetness in the background. Something slightly peanut buttery.
Taste is more of the same, except I don't get any nuttiness anymore. Coffee is dominant, sweetness is there but I'd be inclined to call it molasses if the label didn't say maple on it. Licorice is still competing with the coffee pretty fiercely. Roast bitterness comes along pretty strongly if you wait long enough for the sweetness and licorice to fade.
Mouthfeel is moderately thick, moderately chewy. Overall...this is tasty, unassuming, and dangerously easy-to-drink for a 12% abv beer.

Voidbringer – from Adroit Theory Brewing. Purchased from Adroit Theory online, 16 oz can part of mixed four-pack, $ 8.24/can (Including shipping), $0.515/fl oz. Reviewed 20/01/24 (Review 3225). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped 12/25/23. Stored at 34 degrees at home. Served at 58.6 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature was 62.6 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.25
First pour – Brown (SRM 20), nearly opaque.
Body – Black (SRM 40), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, same with light penetration occurring only at the bottom edge, ruby.
Head - Large (Maximum 4.7 cm, aggressive center pour), spilling over the glass onto the countertop. Bronze, high density, short retention, leaving a 0.3 cm crown and a creamy partial cap. As the head collapses, narrow bands of tiny to small bubbles with many narrow stalactites and columns remain.
Lacing – Fair. Wide band of tiny to small bubbles connected to the crown by short, thick columns. Gives the appearance of devolving into lace curtains. See also above.
Aroma – 4 – Roasted malt and weak coffee. No yeast, no hops, no maple, no alcohol (12 % ABV as marked on the label).
Flavor – 4 – Initially slightly bitter roasted malt followed by weak coffee. No yeast, no hops, no maple. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. No ethanol ever tasted. Slight gastric burning.
Palate – 4.25 – Full; creamy; soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Not much to say – unremarkable Russian impy stout.
