A wild/tart farmhouse ale, fermented and aged in oak wine barrels, then dry hopped with Mosaic and El Dorado hops.

Another review from Christmas 2016. Cranked out the gems for that evening party.
Pours a mostly golden, light leaning into amber color territory, 1/2" white head. The Mosaic and El Dorado dry hopping is interesting, not at all what you would think to do with a saison, but this is more of a saison/wild ale/ipa hybrid I guess. Smells nice and hoppy, then there is a little bit of wine barrel/french oak behind that. Seems to lean on citrus more than tropical fruit notes, so I guess that means El Dorado beat Mosaic here. Has a little help from the barrel.
Taste pushes the wild ale part of the equation. Its sour for starters, and its way more sour than a saison is without some help generally. Nice influence from the wine barrel/french oak. Lively and light. Lemon and lime. A little bit of passion fruit and guava to it. At the end of the day, I liked it more than I thought I would. Its like a saison for people who like dry hopped proprietary hopped ipas and sour wild ales.

Big thanks to FondueVoodoo for the bottle!
(A) Poured a hazy, murky yellow straw color (but I got the yeast in the bottom of the bottle) with 1+ finger of white head with decent retention and bit of lacing.
(N) Citrus (oranges and lemon zest), sour/acidic, with whiffs funkiness.
(T) Nice sharp sourness and acidic notes, white grape skins, some mellon, definitely some citrus, vinous.
(M) Crisp, dry, good carbonation, slightly puckering.
(O) A super tasty, complex beer with lots going on though a bit dificult to describe :).

Pours a hazy, rich yellow gold with a finger of white head. Super juicy nose of citrus, woody white wine tropical fruits and a bit of red berries. Taste is sour citrus and a bit of woody white wine. Nice stuff.
