Appearance: Pours a light yellow body with good clarity and while there are a few bubbles up top, there's no real head formation.
Smell: Beyond a thin scaffolding of lightly crisped grains, it's herbaceous, perfumy and winy and alternately bouncing between fruity aspects of muted melon and lemon/lime.
Taste: A light touch of pale maltiness, maybe a bit of pils, with a quick snap of grassiness, soap and light melon. A moderately vinous vein, one that's acidic and red wine grapey alongside some growing (though not overly bold) bitterness. Seems a bit 'green' and herbal on the backhalf. A lil' hint of sweetness comes 'round on the backhalf as well. Clean, subtle bretty quality throughout. All flavors politely converge for the near-flat, bone dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Low carbonation.
Overall: A big fan of both breweries, though, for me, it could greatly benefit for some crispness. I guess you could say it fell a little flat with me.

Overall: A decent beer but not particularly memorable
