Never heard on the style before having a glass at Buriel. This was not a sweet beer, honey or not, a form of mead or not. Significant on the Brandy , I was told aged for 1 year in the barrel. Taken blind which I did, ignorant on the style, guilty there, I took it for a porter minus and roasted barley notes. I really liked it, it was easy to drink, not a lot going on except the base and the Brandy, ab bid boy at 9% Abv.

This was a big surprise to me. Not being a huge fan of honey in beer I was not expecting a be that taste like a stout and a quad. Aroma is honey, molasses, brandy and done twangy malt. Nice sweet beer that has honey undertones with brandy and molasses. Really nice medium mouth feel. Great beer.
