Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned March 7th 2018?
Opaque and slightly turbid, with a bit of milky cloudy dull yellow body appearance. Classic bone and bright white head, but with only a reaching two fingers of head, and some nice ring and pill like lacing.
Classical booming tropical and large hop nose. Hints of spicy pineapple, thick and rich with muted sweetness coming in. A bit of earthy tones as well makes for a nice balance, taking away any hinted juicy sweet overkilling character. Nearly flirts with a smokey characte as well, quite neat actually.
Palate seems to lay back considerably. Session light in feel, with an almost watery candy like flavor. Touches of spicy hop and tropical fruit, almost a peppery peach like quality. Candy like spicy wet finish though, touches of pineapple and slight juice box store flavors. A good balance between sweetness and bitterness though.
A distinct hop profile, but one that gets stuck in a flirting session feel and weak aftertaste. Interesting take on an IPA.

This is VERY good! I skipped it several times due to the price at $4.75 for the single 16oz, but it's excellent. Bottled 3/7/18, drank 3/29/18.
