Write what you mean. Never what you want others to believe. And tear it up. Remove it from unimplorable eyes. Wash it away from your mind. And be without validation. A way of being for this 2024 Beer Week in Asheville. A modern hoppy ale from barley and wheat. Beautified with self-fulfilling hand-selected Citra, Nectaron, and Citra Cryo.

16oz can poured into a SA perfect pint
A- pours a murky orange-yellow with a one finger foamy white head that has good retention
S- aroma is primarily citra; tangerine, zesty grapefruit. There’s an undertone of dill and mint as well
T- zesty citrus up front is followed by notes of green melon. The finish falls off quickly, leaving a hint of citrus zest
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish
O- this one was a bit one dimensional, a rare miss for me, considering their usual prowess with hazy ipa’s

Canned on 5/20/24; consumed on 6/6/24
Pours an opaque, milky orange hue topped with multiple fingers of densely airy, white foam; good head retention leaves a slim layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, and thick, chunky webs of lacing encircling the walls of the glass.
Aromas of mango cream waft through light resins, peaking with a citric overtone of orange zest and peppery lime, hinting at a danker trend over time.
Taste offers tangerine and grassy resins upfront, leaving orange peel residuals against a slight, bready undertone past the mid-palate into dank lime invigorating the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body and a moderate fluff of carbonation; soft textures carry a resinous twang trending creamy past the mid-palate into a clean, pillowy back end and bright finish.
A cleanly juicy, almost pulpy expression of citrus resins pushes to prominence, texturing a silky-smooth body and yielding a fine NEDIPA.
