Where our finest hopes are tested. A threshold between what we swore we'd become and what the world demands instead. Forged in the furnace of trial. Earnest and imperfect. A MANIFEST ETERNITY collaboration with Whaley Farm Brewery. Who have fought to reopen in Old Fort, NC after their brewery was damaged by Hurricane Helene. This Bitter Ale was mashed with Chevallier Heritage and Brown malts, as well as Riverbend Oats that we toasted in-house. Boiled with Magnum and Adeena and whirlpool with Tangier and more Adeena, enjoy notes of fresh-zested orange, a bouquet of wildflowers, and fresh-baked rustic loaves.

Many thx to CarolinaCardinals for this beer.
A - Deep amber / garnet pour with a creamy, frothy layer that rests on top with light carbonation.
S - Sweet, doughy breadcrust aroma.
T - Sweet doughy bread with a citrus floral and ending balanced.
M - Medium body that's a little thin around the edges.
O - Mild, unobtrusive, and easy drinking.

Picked up an undated 500 ml bottle (November 2025?) from the South Slope location on 12-24-25 for $7.00. Consumed 2-26-26.
Beer poured brown with a nice off white head that is leaving lacing.
Nose has light notes of toasted malts and floral hops.
Taste is a toasted malt base that has a touch of honey. Hopping brings a touch of herbal bitterness that balances but is not bitter in the end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and kind of smooth and refreshing.
Overall, i feel let down. Had great expectations with Chris Whaley involved but the flavors were just not popping like Whaley Farms low gravity brews.
