"Brewed with 6-row barley and turkey red wheat from Riverbend Malt House and rain harvested Cascade fresh hops from Blue Ridge Farms."
Hazy yellow with a low, fluffy head that fades away to nothing. Aromas of hay, spicy floral and grass, earth, and rustic wheaty grain. Spicy yeast esters, earthy grain, and flower petals. Not hoppy in that floral, grapefruity way that you would expect from Cascades, much more earthy. Medium light in body, dry, and fairly crisp. I like the local focus of this Saison, and while pretty tasty, I think the overall unrefined nature of the beer would keep me from having more than one.
