20 month Weller 12 barrel-aged imperial stout finished in a Pips Meadery Razzamatazz barrel and rounded with a touch of barrel-aged maple syrup and vanilla.

Draft only, poured on 2-19-22. No carb on this(like all Candles), so the glass as handed to me looks like a glass of the blackest liquid you've ever seen. On the nose I get hints of bourbon, vanilla, and every so often a sweet berry. On the palate however, this stout is extremely chocolatey. Borderline Hershey's bar in flavor, with just a very slight berry flavor on the end. Heaven in a glass. I am going to knock the overall score a little however, as I didn't pick up on any of the added maple component.
