We brewed this piña colada-inspired Pop! beer with half a ton of toasted coconut and an obscene amount of pineapple. Milk sugar, Tahitian vanilla, and a final dose of Cashmere dry-hops amp the coconut aromatics and transform this Pop! into sour candy juice.

Always interesting to rate something with such an emphasis on additives, this one is Pina colada with vanilla. Color or murky. Smell is a little flat, like a plain berliner in an unwashed tiki glass. The taste is very well balanced, the vanilla works great and the fruits are at the ideal level to be detected but not overpower. Proper sour taste with subtle characteristics, hop notes are mostly buried, maybe some mango or citrus zest. However, bitter hop finish is right there with the sourness. This is crushable and delicious.

Pours a hazy bright yellow, minimal head. Aroma is light pineapple and vanilla. Flavor is creamy, sweet vanilla and fresh pineapple juice. Coconut comes through on the finish with a touch of tangy sourness. Appropriate carbonation. Overall a refreshing beer. Light bodied and very drinkable.

On tap at The Beehive Brewpub in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like sweet candied pineapple, sour lemon candy, vanilla, light coconut, and citrus.
This works quite well for me. There’s loads of fresh sweet pineapple purée, with a lightly sour and clean lemony flavor. There’s more vanilla creaminess than coconut - I’d want some more coconut, but it still tastes good nonetheless. There’s a fresh hoppy citrusy character, too.
This is medium bodied, fairly creamy, with a great level of drinkability.
This might be the best Pop variant I’ve had yet - it’s a wonderful drink.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and appears to have a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with just a narrow white collar around the edge of the glass and some wisps of bubbles covering portions of the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sourness, pineapples, and coconuts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with some sour flavors of pineapples and notes of coconuts with sweet notes of lactose sugar and vanilla towards the finish. The sweetness becomes a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels light-bodied and faintly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer starts off with contrasting flavors of sour tropical flavors and sweet vanilla, but if you let it warm up these will be better balanced, making this taste more like a dessert beer.
