Appearance: Arrives with the liquid a rust-infused blood orange color; the head was relatively modest but that may just have been the pour
Smell: Cranberry and cherry tone, with tones of yeast, wood and pine needles
Taste: The berry/cherry flavors dominate the front end, with complexity developing; pronounced impact from the yeast, with wood and pine needle tones; the finish, however, has a phenolic, band-aid character that lingers on the taste buds
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This is the first beer I have tried from Fonta Flora that I haven't loved so I will give the brewery a pass on this one but the phenolic finish was really off-putting
