I had much higher hopes for this beer. It is rough around the edges and not very smooth. Some much darker notes than I would have expected. Perhaps just not my style.

Deep golden color with a big, bright white head. The aroma shows grain, malt, and light fruity notes. The flavor is moderately sweet and malt‑forward, supported by a medium body and a pleasant floral bitterness on the finish. Simple, balanced, and genuinely good.

No date on can, into a Troegs pint glass.
Pours a dark gold with faint white foam. Aroma is rich, roasted grain and cereal with a little apple. Flavor is intense grain, a little floral and skunky hops, and some more apple. It unfortunately reminds me of a bigger, more flavorful Miller High Life, with a little more bite and sweetness. It's not a bad flavor, I was just hoping for something more refined. Feel is good, much more dense than a typical German style lager, but still crisp, and there's a heavy stickiness reminding me this is a bigger beer without any booziness.
Overall, a semi-letdown, but still interesting. Great mouthfeel and body, but at the cost of the rest of the beer.

Aroma is cereal grains/malts and a hint of fruit sweetness. The flavor is mild fruit, German lager yeast, big malts/grains and a spicy noble hop finish.

L-Clean golden color...pours with a little head but it fades quickly
S-Sweet malt...honey bread
T-Bready and doughy maltiness....hops are restrained but seem to keep the sweeter malt in check...
M-Medium bodied....not undercarbonated but not brimming with carbonation....
O-This is a excellent maibock and one right up my alley with the sweeter malt and minimal hop impression.

Can into Imperial Pint
Look: Clear gold straw yellow. pouring a 1/2 finger head which quickly dissipated into a ring with lacing
Smell: Hint yeast, doughy malt, citrus, grassy hops
Taste: Some hop bitterness. Doughy malt. Weird hint of burning rubber in the aftertaste
Feel: Light medium body, gentle carbonation, crisp
Overall: I hope this is just a back can. Had high hopes for this one

A Tavour Treat. Pours a gold color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma of floral and pine. Taste is tangy. Crisp and dry. A good springtime brew.
