Pale canary yellow, a little bit hazy, ample foam that rises to the rim of the glass and settles with a thin skim and lacing.
Aroma is mainly an earthy herbal dry hop, supported by lemon zest, and shortbread.
Tart with a light citrus hop and lemon, doughy middle, a little bit of earthy Saison like yeast.
Light bodied and lean, the doughiness is what distinguishes it more as a Kvass, but it's more of a dry-hopped sour ale.
Overall it's a nice low abv beer, and an unusual version of a Kvass.

A: Pours a relatively clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow + pale yellow colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a medium sized patch of very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/lemon zest over the top of light aromas of spicy rye bread + caraway seeds and a light amount of citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal hops.
T: Upfront there is a slightly heavier than light flavor of spicy rye bread + caraway seeds with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus/lemon zest and a hint of tartness. Light flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal hops are present in the finish. There is a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving a hint of lemon tartness.
M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Easy to drink and quite enjoyable with well hidden alcohol. The addition of the hops and the lemon zest make this a more interesting version of a craft kvass and I could easily have another of these.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and a very large patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemon zest are present in the nose along with hints of caraway seeds.
T: The taste follows the smell but has additional notes of floral hops and hints of rye. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This has been the most flavorful kvass that I've had to date and I really enjoyed the lemon zest and hoppy bitterness that were present in this beer.
