Appearance: Pours a somewhat cloudy golden color with a two finger head (and bubbles that slowly spume from the bottle); the head slowly recedes, leaving dots and shards behind
Smell: The granite makes a statement in the aromatics as there is a lot of minerality in the aroma; plenty of Bretty funk, bread and a touch of lemon and herbal elements
Taste: The tart lemon and herbal flavors are in the forefront on the taste buds with the funk emerging; the mineral tones really build, after the swallow, and the finish has a bit of a puckery aspect
Mouthfeel: Medium body but a bit overcarbonated
Overall: I can't say I have ever tasted anything with quite this much minerality; it does for a Saison what Burton does for an IPA
