No canning date (presumably canned ~7/25/19)
Pours a clear dark honey gold with virtually no head development save for a quick, paper thin frothing on the surface and bubbly collar, all fading to nothing almost immediately; no lacing at any point.
Aroma is dominated mainly by semi-sweet oak and wood chips balanced against moderate lemony, lactic funk; subtle charred vanilla bean husk and musty caramel undertones come through fleetingly.
Taste opens with lemony lactic funk, with some oak developing to musty citrus fruits briefly before a touch of lime sharpens on the finish through the swallow.
Mouthfeel presents a light, wet body, with lower carbonation and a moderate consistent tartness; fading acidity with a minor drying on the finish.
While little of the advertised lemongrass and lime are apparent, the smooth acidity and semi-sweet oaky character gave this one some life; still, the lack of nuance held this back from anything beyond 'ok'.
