Collaboration with Big Nazo, and label designed by Popcorn Ink. This beer is bursting with fruity and earthy aromas alongside hints of toasted biscuits. Although it’s dark brown in color, it drinks crisp and light with subtle flavors of toast and dark fruits. The sweetness from the caramel malts is balanced out by a firm but pleasant bitterness.

Canned on 8/15/22; consumed on 12/10/22
Pours a clear, deep ruddy maroon body capped with a finger of off-white foam; mediocre head retention leaves a thin layer of cap, large, frothy collar, and myriad display of soapy, webby/spotty lacing spread across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to slight bread crust/toast, with a mineralic prickle eventually settling to sweet, burnt sugar edges; fruity esters over the middle trickle in to lager yeast inflections on the back end.
Taste offers brown sugar contrasting heavy brown toast upfront, with fruity esters phasing into a flaky malt char over the mid-palate, leaving an off-cola tinge into the back end and mineralic underscores to smoked toffee fading through the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a fluffy, moderate carbonation, displaying a quick spritz through the mid-palate before drying to a flaky grit lingering across the finish.
Spotty and unfocused, the malt profile frames spurts of noncommittal sweetness against lazily lagered undertones; drinkable, though not exactly enjoyable.

From a 16 oz. can dated 08/15/2022. Sampled Nov 4, 2022.
It is an attractive looking mahogany brown underneath a big then fading tan head. Little to no lacing.
The aroma is all about sweet malts, brown bread, biscuit, and earth.
Low to medium mouthfeel.
Sweet caramel bursting taste with toasted brown bread and a vaguely dry finale. Easy to chugalug.

On-tap 11/13/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Warwick, RI, served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a deep reddish amber color, with a short dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, lager yeast and touches of fruit & hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with a hearty malt character and a strong lager yeast backbone. Then some sweet flavors of caramel and fruit come in along with a faint touch of spice. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, slightly filling, mild kick, very good representation of style. This is a very solid beer to drink for a long time if you’re in the mood for the style.
