RIP PROC (RIPROC? RI PROC???)
It really is a bummer to see one of the greats of the RI beer scene gone. I stopped in twice on their last weekend and took home a few cans for one last hurrah. This one sounds really fun, wet hop and a mixed ferm? Sign me up. Let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy orange gold with 2 fingers of soapy off white head that quickly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
This is bright and vibrant in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of lemon zest, white pepper, wheat cracker, grassy hops, lemongrass, greek yogurt, honey, and clove
It’s even more alive on the palate with a balanced funk. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lemon juice, white pepper, white wine, grape skin, crackery malt, grassy hops, honey, and lime zest. The swallow brings notes of lemongrass, white pepper, honey, white wine vinegar, lemon zest, earthy wheat, and leafy hops
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a zippy beer. Finishes mostly dry and very refreshing
This one is awesome. A great start to my last Proclamation haul
