Canned on 8/29/24; consumed on 10/28/24
Pours a nearly crystal-clear honey-gold body topped with a finger and a half of off-white foam; decent head retention leaves a paper-thin layer of cap, a thimble of collar, and a limited array of webby lacing around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of minerality and wet grain silo open, with a tinge of honey sweetening brown toast residuals while fading alongside distant waves of fruity esters.
Taste offers honeyed grain and backing notes of cereal, peaking with white toast over the mid-palate while undertones of minerality linger on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a light body and moderate fluff of carbonation, yielding crisp, flaky texturing through the mid-palate into a clean and refreshing back end with a touch of wetness to close.
Tepid and noncommittal to present base elements already firmly established; drinkable, yet lacking anything substantive or nuanced.
