Collaboration with Zagovor Brewery
Imperial stout collab w/ Zagovor Brewery from Moscow. We then aged it for 12 months in French oak red wine barrels stuffed with Ararat (Armenian brandy) soaked birch staves. Additionally conditioned on cocoa nibs and raspberries.

1 pt 0.9 fl.oz. bottle poured into 13 oz Libby snifter.
A: Very dark, no light passes through it. A bit oily, thick. A mildly aggressive pour leaves 1 finger of a dark tan head that dissipates quickly.
S: Burnt, roasty, dark red wine, berries, chocolate.
T: Raspberry and chocolate upfront, barrel on the finish. More barrel and less berry as it warms.
F: Very viscous, mild carbonation.
Overall: A very delicious dessert stout that is very heavy on the adjuncts. I'm glad I bought more than one so I can see how the raspberry and cocoa flavors develop over time.
