It's like when you go to a Taylor Swift concert and you act a fool in the front row trying to get Taylor to look at you and then she does. That's how we feel about Riwaka.

Hazy, yellow color. Medium-sized white head. Tropical fruits, malt, and pine in the aroma. . Sweet start, some hoppy bitterness at the end. Surprisingly too sweet.

Misc.: Canned on Feb. 26, 2021
Saw this at Windmill Farms and four other Other Half beers that I bought earlier at Blind Lady Ale House. Was psyched to see the Other Half drop in town and I hope it continues. Online description was “It's like when you go to a Taylor Swift concert and you act a fool in the front row trying to get Taylor to look at you and then she does. That's how we feel about Riwaka.” Still newish to Riwaka, which is described online as notes of grapefruit and kumquat.
Poured a light golden hazy color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect layered foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. What a good-looking beer. (Overall - 5.00)
Smelled Riwaka, grapefruit, melon, passion fruit, lemon, hints of ginger and grass. A little better out of the can with the addition of herbal and menthol. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Riwaka, grapefruit, passion fruit, melon, lemon, ginger, grass, herbal, menthol, citrus pulp and hints of banana/clove. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was an outstanding hazy IPA. (Overall - 4.00)

Hazy yellow body with eggshell white foam and light lacing. Generic yet well done citrus nose, some nectarine too with dry hops. Wow this one stands out: huge lemon with accenting lime and orange for the first two thirds of the sip, candied honeydew and grapefruit zest are added with the dry hops finish. Feel is juicy and bright before the dry hops finish in a soft and artful way. Really well done showcasing the riwaka, better than the sum of its attributes
