Our 8th Anniversary IPA highlighted a mix of New Zealand, Australian and American-grown hops. The lemon-lime soda combo of Motueka and Enigma and the passion fruit and lychee from Galaxy and Citra really play well together. Here’s to another 10 years! Artwork by @dayolddonuts

Hazy dirty grapefruit juice with citrusy and funky hop aroma and flavor. Not very boozy for a TIPA. Good balance with light bitterness and fairly smooth.

Canned on 1/22/24; consumed on 2/20/24
Pours a turbid, glossy pale gold body capped with two fingers of fluffy, eggshell-white foam; great head retention leaves just shy of a finger of cap, a large, frothy collar, and myriad webs of chunky lacing strewn around the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to subtle lime sorbet into a grassy, dank underscore before passionfruit and lychee bursts peak at boggy mango on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste washes passionfruit, hints of lychee, and banana peel over the forefront of the profile, with a dank grapefruit mid-palate leaning into orange zest and overripe guava on the back end.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a gentle prickle of moderate carbonation, dispersing a pillowy hop twang through subtle, resinous grit as a silky back end produces a semi-juicy finish.
A tropical overload finds a tempered, zesty balance in a NETIPA highlighting a gentler side of the abundant hop overexposure so common in the style; comprehensively well-done.
