Of course most know that our All 'hop' Everything series is focused on the greatest IPA hops in the business. But this beer is a slight departure, once again focusing on a single hop, but with a completely different beer style, the lovely ESB or Extra Special Bitter. Combining a legacy hop, Fuggle, with an ale of maltiness and balanced bitterness. Fuggle, a classic hop from the UK brings sweet floral earthiness and plays wonderfully with it malt base.

Dark amber/caramel appearance
Below average carbonation with a body that has some heft to it
Aroma is bitter but heard to explain and earthy
Taste is dry, bitter but not harsh with tea and earthy mint leaves
Overall its totally worth trying, very well made. Not a chug after mowing the lawn type of beer though, this makes you stop to appreciate it.

From a 16 oz can dated 02/12/26. Sampled April 13, 2026.
Attractive copper-amber pour under a foamy off-white lasting head with decent clarity. Some fog.
Enticing aroma of caramel malts, brown sugar, and vague peppermint.
Medium mouthfeel.
Sweet caramel malt forward taste with a mild bitterness coupled with a minty aftertaste. Easy drinking.

Can from the Packie
Dark gold to light copper in color with a slight haze and a frothy tan head that persists. Earthy peppery with some bready toasty maltiness. Rich old school English feel. A bit different that Other Other half beers, glad I took a chance.

How could this well-balances bitter ale be produced by ONE hop? That is what I asked myself last night down by my grill when I had my first taste of this beer. Brown-gold in the glass with a fine, lacy head, it is appealing in appearance. The nose
is fresh and malty. The carbonation is very fine and this beer slides easily down the gullet. The aftertaste is a subtle combination of caramel and molasses. I have been very impressed with beers by this brewery. Give them credit for another
winner!

Lovely head, classic deep amber appearance. Smells very fresh. Just 15 days in the can. Just as fresh tasting, especially for a malty ale. Maybe too hoppy for purists, but I think it nails the style better than any I've tasted in recent memory. At 5.5%, this is my go-to lawn mower beer this spring.
