such a cool beer, max funk happening here, i love the wild profile of this, and so many of the plan bee beers, they really have a cool thing going on. i cannot make any sense of the low scores for this one, maybe folks have come to expect weird ingredients and stuff in the beers, pickles and potatoes and things, but this more simple brew is next level. its very rustic overall, a cool earthy cereal malt base, wheat heavy, almost doughy and raw, very grounded and simple, almost healthful, with a truly wild brettiness and a bit of tang, but not overly developed acidity or anything. soft hazy, pale straw color, high rising pure white head with awesome retention, this looks exactly like it should in the glass. lots of nuance here, mostly from the yeasts when i taste it, dried grass and even tea, not quite ripe berries and melons, wet basement and musky old mans clothes, piquant lemon flesh, and a soft noble hop spiciness to round it out, really dry, effervescent, and interesting, they did a great job with this, and its a very cool expression of their surroundings, a beer worthy of any table, and something i could have happily had the whole bottle of to myself. big thanks to my brother for procuring this, and the other plan bee beers we shared together in an awesome little tasting! this is like american lambic in a way, really compelling stuff!

This one pours a fairly hazy orange-ish color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This has a dirty and and herbal funk, with white wine, stone fruit, and lemon.
I always Plan Bee because their house funk is so intense and weird. This is herbal and peppery, and very fruity, with a interesting bitterness on the finish. There's some apricot and lemon, too.
This has a soft mouthfeel, with a good level of carbonation, and a good level of drinkability.
Plan bee is definitely doing some of the more unique beers in NYS.

I confess a bit of prejudice for this small brewery but also feel that this one deserves some written reviews. For the most part this one, like many of the Plan Bee bottlings, is a medium slightly hazy orange/yellow with with a whitehead. (Please cool the bottles down. I opened this one at room temp and it was a gusher!)
Nose is herbal; green pepper and celery; undertones of stone fruit and green herbs and earth tones but very pleasant.
Mouth feel was very balanced, medium carbonation and very inviting. You want to drink this one.
Flavor profile is somewhat typical for Plan Bee. Light herbal tones, undertones of white pepper, celery, light salt, hints of green pepper and also hints of green stone fruit. All in all it's a very pleasant and drinkable flavor profile and I liked it.
Clean, dry finish adds to my enjoyment. Not the best Plan Bee I've had but a solid effort.
