Mid sized bottle, from the source.

Pours light and fully hazed, off white cap.

Lemon and yeast on the nose.

Brightly flavorful with more lemon, dry earthy and peppery notes abounding...complex, interesting, well crafted and quite tasty saison...

Pours hazy orange with a persistent off-white head. Light sediment in the glass.

The nose and taste are orange, grapefruit, lemon, and honey. Some dry yeast, wood, and dill in the background.

The mouthfeel is medium for the style, thinning out a bit on the backend.

Overall, very enjoyable. This paired nicely with some blueberry goat cheese and crackers.

A: Pours a hazy to cloudy medium golden yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and moderate straw yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of earthy + barnyard (hay + horse blanket) brett funkiness, pale + wheat + bready malts, lemon citrus lacto tartness, and tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango hops. Light to moderate aromas of spicy yeast + herbal/floral notes.

T: Upfront there are pale + wheat + bready malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of lemon citrus lacto tartness, spicy yeast, and slightly stronger than moderate flavors of earthy + barnyard (hay + horse blanket) brett funkiness. Light flavors of herbal/floral notes and tropical/pineapple + tropical/mango hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving a lingering tart + funky flavor.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a light amount of acidic prickliness and a hint of dryness in the finish.

O: This is a really great farmhouse style beer - just of enough lemon citrus acidity, just enough tropical fruit hops, and just enough barnyard funkiness. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Refreshing and very enjoyable. I would gladly have a few of these.

Wowzer. This is fantastic and exactly what I like in a farmhouse ale. Bright, acidic citrus notes AND funky components as well. Nose is freshly sliced lemon/citrus acidity, tropical fruit including pineapple and mango, hay, petting zoo, melted plastic. There a sweet/powdery floral component that reminds me of cherry blossom and a hint of lavender. At very front of the palate are some sweet components as noted and some sweet spice flavors like cinnamon. There is an acidic/tart/bitter component to this beer that is lemon pulp and rind, moving to a crackery and sourdough bread aspect in the middle and shifting to pear, white grape, tart blueberry, watermelon. I get some tropical fruit in the flavor as well. Passion fruit. The finish is long and dry
