Grabbed a can of this with a ton of others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Had never heard of Owl Farm, but found out it is under the umbrella of the Booze Brothers group. Basically grabbed it because of the description, “A tart fruit ale brewed with blackberries, strawberries & red raspberries. Notes of toast and mixed berry jam.”

Poured a copper-to-reddish brown color with two fingers of frothy khaki head. Could see some bubbles rising up from the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Initial thought on the nose was a wine cooler. Got a little more tart like after. Mixed berry jam is right. In order strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, purple grape, dark fruit, plum, Jolly Rancher candy, floral and perfume. Much the same from the can. (Smell - 3.75)

Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still solid. In order got blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, purple grape, plum, Jolly Ranger candy, floral and perfume. (Taste - 3.50)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, tart finish. (Feel - 3.50)

Good overall, but probably not something I would need to have again. (Overall - 3.50)
